What a year has 2018 been!
These past 10 months we:
> March 2018 : launched of Havas Blockchain and partnership with our friends Blockchain Partner.
> May 2018 : Revealed our offering with Havas Sport & Entertainement.
> July 2018 : announced our partnership with Coinhouse.
> October 2018 : Received the Blockchain Marketing innovation award in Beijing.
>November 2018 : Revealed our offering with ekino in the US, UK, Singapour, Vietnam, India and China.
> December 2018 : Revealed that we were co-organizing the Paris Blockchain Week and the Paris Blockchain Week Summit in April 2019.
In the meantime, we:
> Supported startups such as Q Network.
> Supported the launch of Chain Accelerator, the first European incubator for blockchain technologies in Station F.
> Our team members started to lecture blockchain and token economy in ESCP, HEC Paris and Ecole Polytechnique.
> We travelled to meet you all in China, Korea, Israel, Serbia, UK, Luxembourg…
> We met so many wonderful people that we started to interview them: Michael Amar, Sarah-Diane Eck, François Davy, Brian O’Hagan, Arnaud Grüntahler, Nicolas Cantu, Frédéric Fontaine, Gaspard Koenig, Pascal Boyart, Sébastien Bourguignon, William O’Rorke, Fabien Potencier, Thibault Langlois-Berthelot, Benjamin Athuil, Blaise Cavalli and Pierre Colin, Benjamin Souloumiac, Jérôme Beclin, Grégoire d’Avout, Emelien Ercolani, etc.
But if 2018 has been amazing, 2019 will be wonderful. What should you expect?
As our headquarters are based In Paris, let’s have a first focus on France:
> The PACTE Law will be voted before the spring and will frame the definition of tokens and ICOs. It will also create a license (which will not be mandatory) for ICO holders.
> Several banks and funds will launch crypto-funds following the adoption of this law, bringing new energy in the French crypto-ecosystem.
> The first CAC 40 companies will launch their token generation events.
> In April, the Paris Blockchain Week will gather the world crypto community for a range of events including an international summit at Station F.
Even if we are not prophets, we can already know that abroad:
> The very first European exchanges for security tokens will be launched and ICOs will slowly be overcome by STOs (security token offerings).
> More and more companies (GAFA, BATX, etc) and central banks will work and release their own crypto (Canada, China, Sweden and Uruguay are already working on it).
> The development of blockchain technologies will drive again and again to a very high demand for blockchain experts. To answer the demand, more and more schools and universities will launch curriculum to address the new paradigm of blockchain tech.
And we guess that you now wonder what will 2019 look like for Havas Blockchain?
> We will expand and increase our activities a the international scale :
→ Advising : structuration and positioning of business in the crypto sphere
→ Tech : prototyping, developing, industrializing and auditing blockchain projects
→ Marketing/communication : targeting your communities and promoting blockchain projects and operations
> We will work more and more closely with crypto funds: being supported by at least one of them will become one of our new due diligence criteria (not mandatory for 2019).
> As you surely expect, we will also launch new offerings, new tools and new contents…but we’ll keep the suspense for a while: stay tuned!
> As promised since our launch, we will continue to work actively for the crypto-community and to participate to events, conference and workshops (we remain at your disposal if you wish to receive a speaker of Havas Blockchain at your event).
> And for successfully completing all of this, we will continue to look for the best talents throughought the year and proceed to several recruitments all around the globe.
This new year will be fun, cool and interesting!
