We are today with Paul Bougnoux, founding partner of Largillière Finance :

Psion Finance is a subsidiary of Largillière Finance (www.largiliere-finance.com). The latter is an independent M&A consulting firm, specialized in financial and strategic advices for SMEs’ managers and shareholders during their funding and M&A operations.
2. Why did you take part in the ST8 initiative?
Bpifrance’s recent quarterly poll (February 2019) demonstrates that around 60% of French SMEs are expecting to invest in 2019. Therefore, it is necessary to offer optimized financing solutions to those companies in order to ensure their developments.
ST8 is a strategic alliance between digital and finance. Digitalization becomes progressively key for the financing needs of companies.
We are therefore proud to participate in the creation of this consortium to offer a new and fully digitalized financing solution. This offer is also built on our core expertise: the financing of French SMEs, which remains at the heart of our economy.
3. What is your vision, in the long run, of STOs and ICOs?
We believe that the future of blockchain projects will demonstrate two major trends:
The ecosystem is getting more and more mature and better organized to offer innovative solutions. Although more education is still required, we believe that the tokenization of the economy will become a major asset class. Tokenization technics and market infrastructure will continue to improve and partnerships between parties involved will offer optimized solutions to fully address companies’ financial needs.
Fundraising through tokenization requires (like any other investments) continuous efforts to limit risk related to these operations. Participants in the current market have already developed models to reduce the risk of cryptocurrency asset. As an example, for blockchain related projects, more and more issuers tend to release stablecoins to reduce the volatility risk. In addition, many regulators establish dedicated laws to monitor more efficiently the fundraising of ICO and STO projects. Also, strong KYC/AML alongside custody management solution are developed by major institutions to provide a strong investment framework for institutional investors.
For all those reasons, a growing number of investors (institutional and retail) will add STO and ICO investments in their funds' allocations in order to diversify their portfolios and, ultimately, to support SMEs.
